Long ago, in the days when the Earth was young and brimming with energy, there existed a single, vast landmass called Pangaea. This mighty land was a creation of Gaia, the Earth Mother, who wove it together as a symbol of unity and balance. Pangaea stretched across the world like a giant jewel, cradled by the endless waters of the Panthalassa Ocean.
But balance is fragile, and the gods who governed the Earth were not immune to pride, ambition, and rivalry. It was the actions of these gods that tore Pangaea apart, splitting it into the northern realm of Laurasia and the southern expanse of Gondwana.

As time passed, the Kingdoms began to quarrel over dominion of Pangaea. Poseidon sought to claim the Tethys Sea for himself, seeing it as the perfect extension of his watery kingdom. Terra, however, argued that the land surrounding the sea was hers by right. Ignis, ever hungry for power, believed the fiery depths beneath Pangaea should be his to control, while Zephyra desired to expand her skies across both the northern and southern realms.
Gaia, sensing the growing tension, warned her children to maintain harmony. “If you cannot work together,” she said, “you will tear my creation apart.” But her words fell on deaf ears, as each god plotted in secret to claim Pangaea’s riches.
The Breaking of Pangea
The tipping point came when Poseidon and Ignis struck a deal. Poseidon would unleash mighty tsunamis upon the Tethys Sea, forcing Terra to relinquish her hold on the land. In return, Ignis would crack the Earth’s crust, creating fiery rifts to divide the landmass.

Laurasia, the northern continent, grew cold and temperate, home to vast forests and future empires.
Gondwana, the southern realm, flourished in tropical warmth, cradling ancient jungles and mysterious creatures.
But the gods’ rivalry did not end. Poseidon claimed dominion over the Tethys Sea, while Terra vowed to reclaim the lands. Ignis and Zephyra continued to battle over control of the skies and fiery depths, shaping mountains, deserts, and storms.
