Kalki: Chapter 4: Kalki and the Dark Knight: The Gotham Encounter

 A Shadow in Gotham

After gathering heroes from across worlds, Kalki still felt that something was missing. The treasure of the Nagas was hidden deep within ancient mysteries, and she needed someone who understood secrets, strategy, and the minds of villains. That's when she saw a vision, Gotham City, a dark and shadowy place ruled by crime. And at the center of it stood a man in black, watching from the rooftops.

Batman

Kalki knew she had to find him. But Gotham was no place for a visitor especially not one from another realm.

The Chase Through Gotham

As soon as she arrived in Gotham, Kalki felt the heavy energy of the city. It was cold, the streets were full of danger, and shadows seemed to move on their own. She walked carefully, using her heightened senses to avoid trouble. But she didn't go unnoticed.

A group of masked criminals, the League of Shadows, spotted her. They had been watching for anything unusual in Gotham, and a warrior-like woman in strange robes definitely stood out. They surrounded her in a dark alley.

Who are you, and why are you here? one of them growled.

Kalki knew she could fight them, but before she could act, the streetlights flickered, and a deep voice echoed from the shadows

“Let her go.”

In an instant, Batman appeared, dropping from above like a silent phantom. The criminals panicked, knowing they were no match for Gotham’s protector. In seconds, they were gone.

Batman turned to Kalki, his piercing eyes scanning her carefully. “You don’t belong here,” he said. “Who are you?”

Episode 8: The Detective and the Seeker

Kalki didn't waste time. She told Batman about the lost treasure, the Nagas, and the danger that was growing across worlds. She explained that she needed the greatest minds and warriors to help uncover the treasure before it fell into the wrong hands.

 

Batman listened, silent and still. Then, he asked one question.

Why me?

You are the world's greatest detective,Kalki said. You see things no one else can. You uncover what is hidden. I need that skill now more than ever.

Batman considered her words. Then he nodded. What you say is true, then this treasure isn't just about gold. It's about something much bigger. I will help you, but I work alone.

Kalki smiled. Then you haven't met my team yet.

As she spoke, a portal opened behind her. Superman stepped through, followed by Thor, Doctor Strange, and Wonder Woman. Batman's eyes narrowed.

This just got interesting,he muttered.
